D23: A brief review

Oky this is going to be a brief weeeeeee for your Monday! Some of the fun thing announced at D23. (image: USA today)

No I wasn't there (obviously) but I like to scour the internet every now and then and see what fun and cool things these conventions announced. The coolest thing talked about was the Captain America: Civil War trailer that they showed. The sucky thing (as usual) is that unless you where there is seems to be blocked within 20min (they are fast at Disney) so very few of us have been able to find it. I guess that it's amazing and if I manage to ever find a link (or they actually release it) then I will share it with you.

Johnny Depp (pictured above) was inducted into the Disney's Legends society. But he also made an appearance as Captain Jack to promote the newest instillation of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.  (Due to release in July 2017)

I guess the Rock showed up unannounced to support his film Moana

The actor introduced a clip of his "extremely, relentlessly, achingly handsome" (his words) character Maui — a man with a big personality and a dancing chest tattoo — before leading the hall in a Samoan chant. (USA Today)
There are reasons I love the Rock and this is totally one of them.

You should also check out the image for Gigantic. A story of a little girl giant and Jack.
Heads up, parents: Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who did the music for Frozen, are the songwriters here! They performed a cute song, “My Little Man,” that will be in the scene where Ema meets Jack and plays with him like a doll. ET Online

I know it's a short post but I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Until next time
Keep on, Geekin' on.
