Last day to a new life!

Today is it! I go in for my last day at my current job. If you haven't been keeping up I actually gave my notice a few weeks back and am embarking on an exciting and slightly terrifying journey of being a stay at home mom and home business owner. It's that time of year again... the binge watch of all my favourite TV shows so I'm caught up for the newest season to start! Which also means I'm PVRing all the season premiers.

Best Things about Fall

Okay so recently my Friday's have been focused on Funko (because seriously, they are adorable) but I thought I should to something different this week. So today I'm going actually try a Friday Top 5 again. Sometimes I really like doing lists and top 5's, but other weeks I hate being limited to someone else's ideas on my own blog. Today is Thursday and sometimes I believe Thursday is so much worst than Monday. Monday you start the day with either a bang or a crawl and then manage to continue on through your day and week at a decent pace. Thursday is the last lap till the weekend, you can see the finish line ahead of you but you still have SO FAR to go that you really don't know if it's worth running or just taking an extra long nap. Wickedly Wednesday: The newest items from Hot Topic

September is in full swing. Somehow we have managed to pass half a month in a blink of an eye. I have to say I'm still feeling like it's the beginning of the month when it's nearly the end. Although I haven't totally accepted it I'm really quite happy for October getting closer, if nothing more than for the cool stuff that always comes out in October. Well, this year I'm sure won't disappoint and I have to say that the Newest items from Hot Topic are totally on point for my usual Wednesday Wednesdays. (gif: Elite Daily)

Cosplay Prep: Things I learned at Fan Expo

When going to large conventions you end up sitting in a lot of panels (well at least I seem to). There are ones for celebrities, there are one for fandoms and comics, creator panels and even how to get a business going. This year I attended a few of the Cosplay and costuming panels. Fan Expo: Costumes I Saw

One of my favourite things about going to Conventions is getting to see all the amazing costumes and how much work people put into them. So today (for a Monday) I decided to put up a collection of some of the amazing work people did. (there may be some repeats from other days but who doesn't want to see them again.

This has been an amazingly huge week for Funko. There's been quite a few new items set to be released and some pretty awesome Star Wars news as well. Hi! I'm still alive! How about you?

Fan Expo was a roaring success last weekend and I really really really need to write an amazing post about all the fun stuff I learned and all the cool people I saw. The issue is that currently my home computer isn't set up and I can't edit any of my photos (or really link them properly) until I have that up and running. I'm hoping to get it all set up tonight and then maybe I can actually post something more fun tomorrow... YAY!

New Month and Big Changes

I'm Back! I'm sorry about the lack of posts the past 2 days but there has been a lot of things going on since the Convention (which was awesome and I'll do a better post hopefully before the end of the week with all the awesome costumes I saw and maybe even a panel discussion). Testing a mobile app

Today is day one of Fan Expo! I totally failed to post anything yesterday because of getting ready but I'm testing a mobile today. I've already tried one that failed miserably and wouldn't post anything. If this one works I'm going to use it over the weekend to post little updates.

I'm TOTALLY FREAKING OUT!

2 days and counting and today I am totally channeling my Peg + Cat... I'm "Totally Freaking Out". As all cosplayer's know nothing ever seems to get done in the time frame that you are planning to have it finished in. So instead of relaxing and packing and preparing the last few days you are scrambling around like a crazy person trying to get everything done.
