Oky, I know I'm two days behind but I took an extended Thanksgiving Holiday with my family. So be it! :) We had a great time and I'm back to write about all the Geeky Things to come... Mainly HALLOWEEN!! Can I get a squee?? Well, one thing about Thanksgiving. It definitely makes you realize how little time you have till Halloween, then Christmas to follow. We’ve all been there. There are a ton of amazing shows and movies and books coming out but our actual time is limited. Not only are we trying to juggle all this media that really excites us and wants us to watch it, we are also trying to juggle this thing called real life. Suppers and work, School and sports. Our lives are filled with things that we have to do and things that we want to do, that we are bound to fall behind on something pretty quickly.

So my husband and I are going to a ballroom dance (aren't we all shmancy) and dinner for Halloween with some friends. This is partially because it's our 5th year anniversary (yup we got married on Halloween) and because our friend is performing at the dance. Mary Poppins: From Book to Movie to Movie again?

Mary Poppins, we all know and love this iconic character and all her amazing songs. Well I finally managed to sit my children down and watch it and to my surprise (with this day and age of high graphics and computer technology) it captivated them both the same way it did to me. Happiness Thursday.

 So it's that time again. It's Thursday. The day that often feels like the never ending gateway to the weekend. I have to say that this week I'm quite happy for today. I got to sleep in till 7:30 (lol) and take my kids to school. I went grocery shopping and have been watching TV all morning.
