Everyone know the old saying “do not judge a book by it’s cover”, we all use it. We use it to remind ourselves that people can be different than what we judge them as, and we use it to make sure we try something unexpected. As much as this can be true in the more general sense of the term, today I want to discuss how we do (usually) end up judging the book by it’s cover. Cosplay Prep: Creating Props

No, I'm not Cosplaying Minions but I am definitely in full costume creation mode being I only have 1.5 weeks to go until Fan Expo and I'm SO not ready. This is the cry of all cosplayers. We hope to have things done a week or two (or a month or two lol) early but we seldom manage it.

eBay: A Brief Guide for Cosplayers

The truth about cosplay is that eventually you are going to have to buy things for it. I know. The worst part of anything is having to hand over them hard-earned dollars. The good news: there are a lot of ways to make the spending hurt a little less. The place that I most often find myself coming back to is eBay. From experience, I know it can be intimidating at first, so here is a brief guide to help make that first step easier.
